This weekend we took a break and attended the 36th Annual DFW Auto Show. Every year we get the opportunity to attend several automotive events and the DFW Auto Show is one of our favorites.
This is the perfect place where local consumers and automotive enthusiasts can check out the latest cars and trucks under one roof.
This year there were spectacular displays from Chevy, Nissan, Lexus and more. Below are some of the awesome rides that made our Top 5.
Via Daily Rubber:
The LEGO Batmobile
Inspired by the LEGO Batman Movie, Chevrolet brought the Lego Batmobile to life at the DFW Auto Show. This handcrafted creation took some 344,187 Lego bricks and over 1,833 hours to build. It was designed and assembled by Lego master builders in Enfield, Conn.
2018 Ford Mustang
With more than a menacing grille, the 2018 Ford Mustang packs more power, better handling and enough torque to move mountains. The new pony car comes with only two engine choices: a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder and a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V-8.
2018 Lexus LC 500
According to Lexus, the LC500 is more than a car but a feeling and I have to admit, seeing this super luxury coupe up close and live at the DFW Auto Show I felt it.
With 471 horsepower under the hood, a 10 Speed automatic transmission and 0-60 MPH in 4.4 seconds, you’ll feel it too! Starting at $92,000 the 2018 LC 500 is slated to go on sale in the U.S. in May 2017.
2018 Bentley Bentayga
Touted as the fastest and most luxurious SUV on the market, the Bentley Bentayga does not disappoint. These claims are made due to successfully combining luxurious refinement with ultra-power and torque.
The latest price of 2018 Bentley Bentayga has been set at $210,000 – $260,000. Order yours today!
2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
We were pleasantly greeted at the front door of the DFW Auto Show with the latest member of the Corvette family. The 2017 Grand Sport carries on the tradition of the original 1963 model but with more power and better handling.
Under the hood, this monster delivers a massive 6.2L V-8, 469 horsepower and 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. From what we could see this car drew the most attention, we could barely get a decent pic without several people crowded around and waiting to get inside.
2018 Porsche Panamera 4S
How could we not mention the awesome Porsche Panamera 4S? Not only the Panamera but Porsche had several cars that were pretty dope. However, if I were on the market for a high-end luxury sedan, I would have to give serious consideration to the Panamera 4S.
From exterior styling to cabin design the Panamera gets it all right. Not to mention, the power and performance under the hood, this beauty comes packed with a 4.0-liter turbo charged 8-cylinder engine; 550 hp, 567 lb-ft; and an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
There’s nothing else quite like it unless you consider the Audi S7… Hmmm!- We could go on forever, but you get the picture! The weekend was lit!
