The trailer doesn’t really give us much to go on, it’s literally just Dave walking in the desert with a long ass shirt on. Morgan Freeman does the voice over alluding to the fact that comedians cannot really say anything any more without getting into trouble.
” If you say anything, you risk everything.” So far people have been loving his work because its still classic Chappell pushing the envelope on cultural and political issues.
According to : Chicoer.com
His latest special, “Sticks and Stones,” probably has more social and political commentary than any other.
He’s willing to take stances on issues that few mainstream comedians today would. That kind of bluntness and unapologetic demeanor is endearing, even if a lot of people find it abrasive.
Chappelle has been at the top of the game for years. His timing and clever writing are as good as they’ve ever been.
Even when his jokes are harsh, the delivery is so masterful that even people who don’t agree with him laugh.
